Police arrest 35 including Makindye West MP Allan Ssewanyana in Kajjansi during presidential nominations

Police said 35 people, among them Makindye West MP Allan Ssewanyana, were arrested in Kajjansi on the second day of presidential nominations for disobeying security guidelines, and were later released on police bond. Police also said several supporters of NUP's Robert Kyagulanyi were arrested for reckless riding and assault, and that two vehicles and 40 motorcycles were impounded.
