Police fire tear gas and arrest supporters during Kyagulanyi's Buikwe campaign

Nile Post reported that on 26 November 2025 police repeatedly fired tear gas at NUP supporters along Robert Kyagulanyi's route, including at Kyampisi, River Sezibwa and near Jinja Bridge, blocked vehicles believed to be part of the procession and arrested several supporters at River Sezibwa. Fumes affected pupils at a nearby school.
