Rostam Aziz meets Gen. Muhoozi in Entebbe over closure of Daily Monitor and NTV Uganda

According to unnamed sources cited by ChimpReports, Tanzanian businessman Rostam Aziz, who has agreed to buy a controlling stake in Nation Media Group, met Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba at Special Forces Command headquarters in Entebbe over the closure of NMG's Ugandan outlets. The sources said commitments discussed included editorial changes and possibly removing NMG Uganda's managing director, and that the outlets would stay closed until the acquisition is completed; Muhoozi said he would report to President Museveni before a decision on reopening.
