School bus carrying King David Junior School pupils crashes in Kapchorwa, killing pupils

A bus carrying pupils of King David Junior School, Makindye, crashed in Kapchorwa District as they returned from a study tour to Sipi Falls, according to URN, which reported that nearly 20 pupils died. Preliminary reports say the bus developed mechanical problems; other accounts raised concerns that it was overloaded and not roadworthy.
