The Daily Monitor reports that suspected assailants carrying pangas tried to enter Canon Apollo Core PTC in Fort Portal City at about 6:30am. The area GISO said they refused to identify themselves and one tried to cut a soldier, after which commanders ordered soldiers to open fire; four bodies were at the college by press time and the rest fled.
