UPDF and police withdraw from Bobi Wine's home in Magere after deployment since Election Day

According to the Daily Monitor, a joint team of UPDF soldiers and police officers withdrew from the Magere home of NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine), where they had been deployed since Election Day on 15 January. The withdrawal came after Kyagulanyi left for the United States in late January, and days after the Uganda Law Society went to court seeking an end to what it called an unlawful siege.
