Bbaale MP Tebandeke padlocks Kayunga hand hoe stores; district officials cut locks and release hoes

Bbaale County MP Charles Tebandeke put padlocks on containers holding 50,000 government hoes in Kayunga District, saying officials had left him out of distribution planning and invited his NRM opponent Arthur Kizza instead. After a closed meeting between the district chairperson, the Resident District Commissioner and the District Police Commander, officials cut the padlocks and handed the hoes to sub-county leaders for distribution, according to the Daily Monitor.
