Besigye's defence questions file dates of recordings during treason trial at High Court in Kampala

According to the Daily Monitor, defence lawyers in the treason trial of Dr Kizza Besigye and his co-accused questioned discrepancies in the dates of electronic files containing recordings the prosecution links to an alleged plot to overthrow the government. The issue arose during cross-examination of the prosecution's second witness, Makerere University senior lecturer Medadi Ssentanda, before Justice Emmanuel Baguma.
