Buganda Road court denies bail to lawyer Male Mabirizi, remands him to Luzira until 27 March

Buganda Road Chief Magistrate Ritah Neube Kidasa dismissed lawyer Male Mabirizi's bail application after the prosecution said it needed time to verify his sureties, and remanded him to Luzira Prison until 27 March 2026. According to the prosecution, Mabirizi faces charges over social media posts, including a TikTok video, alleged to be malicious and hateful towards Chief Justice Flavian Zeija and Justice Musa Ssekaana.
