Buganda Road court grants bail to four men charged over demolition of structures in Owino Market

Buganda Road Chief Magistrate's Court granted cash bail of Shs300,000 each to four men charged with malicious damage to property and building without a permit over the demolition of structures in Owino Market, Kampala. Prosecutors allege that on the night of March 7 to 8 the men damaged buildings, including a commercial building of a market stall owners' association, without KCCA authorisation. The case was adjourned to April 13 as investigations continue.
