Bukedea pastor says security operatives sought his arrest after sermon on election violence, detained his brother

A pastor of Sovereign Revival Church of Christ in Bukedea, who was election manager for independent MP candidate John Bosco Ikojo, told the Daily Monitor that security operatives tried to arrest him after a Sunday sermon against election violence. He said they detained his brother by mistake, later released him, and surrounded his home, and that he is in hiding. Police said investigations into allegations raised by the pastor and others were ongoing.
