The Uganda Wildlife Authority said in a statement that it worked with the Uganda Police Force in an intelligence-led operation that led to the arrest of five suspects in Bukedea district and the recovery of 106 kilograms of elephant ivory. According to UWA, the suspects were expected to be charged at Makindye Court in Kampala.
