China confirms deployment of medical expert team to Uganda for Ebola response

China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning told a press briefing in Beijing on Friday that a Chinese medical expert team had arrived in Kampala at Uganda's invitation to support the Ebola outbreak response. According to ChimpReports, she said the team had met Ugandan health authorities, research institutions and the WHO/Africa CDC Ebola Incident Management Support Team and was providing technical guidance.
