Cleric killed in hit-and-run involving UPDF vehicle in Kiru Town Council, Abim; driver arrested

An Anglican reverend riding a motorcycle to lead a Sunday service was knocked and killed at Akado in Kiru Town Council, Abim District, by a UPDF vehicle that eyewitnesses said was speeding and left the scene. According to anonymous police sources at Abim Central Police Station cited by Nile Post, the driver was arrested and the vehicle impounded.
