Commissioner Land Registration recalls titles overlapping Uganda Investment Authority land

Commissioner of Land Registration Baker Mugaino issued a public notice on 12 March recalling several land titles found to overlap a title held by the Uganda Investment Authority, the Daily Monitor reports. He said investigations had found the titles were illegally issued and ordered their holders to surrender them for cancellation within seven days, after a hearing confirmed the UIA title was issued first, in December 2001.
