Court rejects fourth bail application of 12 anti-EACOP activists on remand for nearly three months

Magistrate Winnie Nankya Jatiko at Buganda Road Chief Magistrate's Court rejected the fourth bail application of the 12 anti-EACOP activists, saying the case was at an advanced stage, according to the Daily Monitor. She set 6 November to rule on whether they have a case to answer. Their lawyer Kato Tumusiime called the decision illegal and said it prejudged the accused.
