Detained PFF leader Erias Lukwago files third bail application in High Court, citing 60 days without trial

The Daily Monitor reported that Erias Lukwago applied to the High Court in Kampala for bail for the third time, arguing under Article 23(6)(b) of the Constitution that more than 60 days had passed since his remand without the start of his trial. He proposed four sureties, including MP Betty Nambooze and former MP Moses Kasibante. An earlier bail bid had been rejected by the High Court.
