Disqualified Makindye mayoral aspirants protest at EC headquarters and announce legal challenge

Several of the disqualified Makindye Division mayoral aspirants told reporters they were consulting lawyers about an election petition and judicial review of the EC tribunal ruling, according to the Daily Monitor. Some went to the EC headquarters with supporters carrying placards to demand a copy of the ruling so they could appeal to the High Court.
