EACOP and Belgian agency Enabel sign MoU on business and human rights in Uganda's energy sector

According to The Independent, EACOP Ltd and the Belgian Development Agency Enabel signed a memorandum of understanding to promote human rights due diligence and align EACOP's operations and suppliers with Uganda's National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights. The partnership falls under an EU-funded project co-implemented by Enabel and the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, whose Commissioner of Equity and Rights welcomed it.
