EC tribunal hears case of three Bukedea Woman MP aspirants removed from voters register

Lawyers for three Bukedea Woman MP aspirants, Hellen Odeke Akol, Norma Susan Otai (FDC) and Mercy Marion Alupo (NUP), appeared before the Electoral Commission tribunal in Kampala over the deletion of their names from the Bukedea voters register, in a complaint brought by Zipporah Akol. According to the Daily Monitor, Ms Otai said the EC referred them back to the Bukedea tribunal that had deleted their names, and the aspirants questioned whether the EC would give them a fair hearing.
