According to ChimpReports, the Electoral Commission nominated NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, FDC's Nandala Mafabi James Nathan and ANT's Gen. (Rtd) Mugisha Muntu on the second day of presidential nominations at its Kampala headquarters. The outlet reports that Justice Simon Byabakama, the Returning Officer, confirmed Kyagulanyi's nomination, bringing the number of nominated candidates to six, including incumbent President Yoweri Museveni.
