Flavia Nyinakiiza Kanagizi re-elected Kabale District Council Speaker

According to the Daily Monitor, NRM candidate Flavia Nyinakiiza Kanagizi was re-elected Speaker of Kabale District Council with 21 votes against 14 for independent Baker Turyamureba, in a vote presided over by Chief Magistrate Derrick Byamugisha. The same sitting followed the swearing-in of LCV chairperson Denis Nzeirwe Ndyomugyenyi and councillors, and elected Tom Ahimbisibwe as deputy speaker.
