Heavy rainfall flooded a section of Jinja Highway near Kyambogo, making the road impassable and disrupting traffic, according to ChimpReports. Police traffic spokesperson Michael Kananura advised motorists to use alternative routes; eyewitnesses reported stalled vehicles and congestion on feeder roads including Banda, Ntinda and the Northern Bypass.
