Former Attorney General Fred Ruhindi nominated for Nakawa East parliamentary seat

Nile Post reports that former Attorney General Fred Ruhindi was nominated to contest the newly created Nakawa East constituency, ten years after he left Parliament. After his nomination he pledged clean and transparent politics. His opponents include NUP deputy spokesperson Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro, nominated in absentia, and Winifred Nakandi of the Democratic Forum.
