General Court Martial convicts Hamza Lyavala and Adil Walusansa of murder over Munyonyo and Kalerwe incidents

According to The Observer, the General Court Martial in Makindye convicted state informers Hamza Lyavala and Adil Walusansa on two counts of murder linked to the 3 June 2025 Munyonyo explosion and the 21 June 2025 Kalerwe incident, after they pleaded guilty. The prosecution asked for the death penalty, while the defence sought leniency.
