High Court declines bail for former Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago

Justice David Matovu of the High Court declined to release Erias Lukwago on bail, The Observer reported. The judge found the prosecution's fears of flight and witness interference speculative and accepted his sureties, but ruled that the trial judge yet to be assigned the case should decide on bail.
