High Court dismisses bid to halt Eng. Twinomujuni's continued service past retirement age

Justice Collins Acellam of the Kampala High Court dismissed an application for an interim order to stop Commissioner for Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Services Eng. John Mary Vianney Twinomujuni from continuing in office after reaching retirement age, according to ChimpReports. The applicant had argued his stay was unlawful, while the State Attorney told court the President allowed a temporary extension because of his specialised skills. The main application challenging his reappointment is to proceed to a full hearing.
