High Court dismisses challenge to NRM endorsement of Among and Tayebwa for Speaker and Deputy Speaker

The Daily Monitor reports that Justice Collins Acellam of the High Court Civil Division dismissed a judicial review application by Jack Nsubuga, an NRM member, against the NRM Central Executive Committee's endorsement of Anita Among and Thomas Tayebwa for the 12th Parliament's top posts. The judge found the applicant lacked standing and had not exhausted the party's internal dispute mechanisms, and ordered each party to bear its own costs.
