High Court in Kampala bars journalist Dean Lubowa Ssava from further posts against Deputy IGG Anne Muhairwe

According to ChimpReports, Lady Justice Joyce Kavuma of the High Court in Kampala granted Deputy Inspector General of Government Anne Twinomugisha Muhairwe a temporary injunction stopping Dean Lubowa Ssava, trading as TV10 Gano Mazima, from publishing further statements she says are defamatory. The judge held that the unrebutted allegations risked irreparable harm to her reputation and that freedom of expression does not protect defamation; the order stands until Civil Suit No. 289 of 2025 is decided.
