High Court in Kampala convicts nine people over 2018 kidnap and murder of Susan Magara

The Daily Monitor reports that Justice Alex Ajiji of the High Court in Kampala found nine accused people guilty of kidnapping businesswoman Susan Magara in February 2018 for ransom and then murdering her. The judge said forensic and circumstantial evidence proved the case and deferred sentencing to the following day. The paper says two suspected masterminds remain at large, and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions welcomed the verdict.
