High Court in Luwero rejects tally centre video in Nakaseke Central election petition

Justice Samuel Emokor of the High Court sitting in Luwero ruled that a video submitted by former Nakaseke Central MP Allan Mayanja Ssebunya (NUP) could not be admitted through affidavits because it was not part of the original petition, which challenges the election of Joseph Kabuye Kyofatogabye. Mayanja alleges the Electoral Commission wrongly tallied results from 31 polling stations; the judge also allowed the respondents to cross-examine 17 of the petitioner's polling agents.
