Justice & Court Rulings Verified Luweero 15 Sep 2026 Severity: 1/5

Justice Samuel Emokor of Luweero High Court allowed petitioner Allan Mayanja Ssebunya (NUP) to file a supplementary affidavit with handwriting evidence on declaration of results forms by 18 September, in his petition against State Minister Joseph Kabuye Kyofatogabye's (NRM) win in Nakaseke Central, the Daily Monitor reports. The petitioner's lawyer said about eight DR forms appeared to have been filled in by the same person; the Electoral Commission objected to the late evidence. The judge set the trial for 12 to 16 October.
