High Court orders journalist Henry Lubulwa to pay Shs60 million for defaming Letshego Uganda and its CEO

High Court judge Collins Acellam found that a January 2023 Entebbe Post story by journalist Henry Lubulwa about Letshego Uganda Limited and its chief executive was defamatory, according to URN. The judge awarded Shs50 million in general damages and Shs10 million in exemplary damages, and ordered an unqualified apology on all platforms where the story ran, plus costs.
