High Court orders security chiefs to produce missing ministry adviser Duncan Keith Ayebare

Justice Joyce Kavuma of the High Court in Kampala issued a writ of habeas corpus ordering the Chief of Defence Forces, the Chief of Defence Intelligence and Security, the Inspector General of Police and the Attorney General to produce Duncan Keith Ayebare in court on June 2. The Daily Monitor reports the judge found that security agencies had not adequately explained his whereabouts and that the evidence showed he was arrested by armed men linked to state security and never charged.
