High Court orders Uganda Prisons to file Besigye medical report after he misses treason trial, Kampala

According to ChimpReports, Justice Emmanuel Baguma ordered the Uganda Prisons Service to submit a detailed report on Kizza Besigye's health before the next hearing on 4 August 2026, after Luzira Prison informed the court he was unwell and unable to attend. The court is expected to decide then whether he is fit to continue standing trial.
