High Court schedules habeas corpus hearing on missing activist Sam Mugumya

According to ChimpReports, the High Court in Kampala set a hearing for 26 October 2026 before Justice Kinobe in a habeas corpus application seeking the production of Sam Mugumya. The application names the Attorney General, the Chief of Defence Forces, the Inspector General of Police and other security chiefs as respondents; the Ministry of Justice received the hearing notice on October 23.
