High Court sentences Christopher Okello Onyum to death for killing four toddlers at Ggaba centre

According to the Daily Monitor, Justice Alice Komuhangi Khaukha of the High Court sentenced Christopher Okello Onyum to death on four counts of murder over the killing of four young children at Ggaba Early Childhood Development Centre. The judge described the offence as falling in the 'rarest of the rare' category and said she found the prosecution's suggestion of possible ritual motives plausible; the paper reports Okello has 14 days to appeal.
