High Court sets 22 December ruling in Walukagga petition against EC disqualification in Busiro East

According to the Daily Monitor, Justice Simon Peter Kinobe of the High Court in Kampala heard submissions in Mathias Walukagga's petition against the Electoral Commission's decision to disqualify him from the Busiro East parliamentary race and set 22 December for the ruling. The judge gave the parties compressed deadlines to file responses, and the Commission's lawyers said they had not been aware of the petition earlier.
