High Court upholds disqualification of Busiro East aspirant Mathias Walukagga

The High Court in Kampala upheld the Electoral Commission's disqualification of Busiro East aspirant Mathias Walukagga in a judgment delivered on 21 December 2025, NTV reported. Justice Simon Peter Kinobe held that his mature-age certificate had expired before his nomination and that the EC had the mandate to decide candidates' qualifications.
