IGG lifts order halting NAADS payment of Shs1.2 billion to Kanungu tea nursery operators

According to ChimpReports, Deputy Inspector General of Government Mariam Wangadya wrote to the NAADS Executive Director vacating a January 2020 IGG order that had halted payment to 78 tea nursery bed operators in Kanungu District pending an investigation. The IGG directed NAADS to pay the operators about Shs1.2 billion owed for tea seedlings supplied under the NAADS programme.
