The Internal Security Organisation submitted a list of 737 verified flood-affected traders to the Office of the Prime Minister, after examining claims from more than 2,000 people, according to Uganda Radio Network. Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja told trader leaders the list would be displayed at the affected buildings for scrutiny before payment from the Shs20 billion fund pledged by President Museveni after the October 2025 floods. Earlier counts varied: KCCA identified 460 affected traders, while trader leaders submitted lists of about 2,000 and 1,600 names.
