Kampala returning officer tells High Court results of 22 Nakawa East polling stations were left out of tally

In the High Court petition by Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro challenging NRM candidate Fred Ruhindi's election as Nakawa East MP, Kampala District Returning Officer Rashid Hasakya said under cross-examination that voting took place at 22 polling stations whose results were not included in the final tally. The tally declared Ruhindi winner of the January 2026 parliamentary election.
