Kaweesi murder trial resumes at International Crimes Division with forensic evidence

According to the Daily Monitor, the trial over the killing of former Assistant Inspector General of Police Andrew Felix Kaweesi resumed before the International Crimes Division of the High Court in Kampala, with forensic witnesses from the Government Analytical Laboratory and Defence Intelligence and Security. Police presented 47 cartridge cases and one projectile in court during a week-long session scheduled to run until 23 October 2026.
