KCCA sets Ebola safety measures for swearing-in of Kampala Lord Mayor and councillors

KCCA Deputy Executive Director Benon Kigenyi told journalists that the swearing-in of the newly elected Lord Mayor and councillors would go ahead on 20 May under Ministry of Health Ebola operating procedures. According to the Daily Monitor, the measures include handwashing facilities, temperature screening and isolation of anyone with a temperature above 38 degrees, following the Ministry of Health's confirmation of Bundibugyo-strain Ebola cases in Kampala.
