KCCA suspends on-street parking from Kitgum House on Jinja Road to Kampala-Entebbe Road junction

The Kampala Capital City Authority announced an immediate suspension of on-street parking along sections of Kampala and Jinja Roads, from Kitgum House to the Kampala-Entebbe Road junction, according to the Daily Monitor. KCCA said the measure is meant to ease traffic flow and improve safety in the Central Business District and advised motorists to use alternative parking; the paper notes that businesses relying on street parking may be affected.
