Kizza Besigye and aide arraigned before General Court Martial after disappearance in Nairobi

Kizza Besigye and his aide Hajj Obeid Lutale were produced before the General Court Martial in Makindye, Kampala, on 20 November 2024, charged with security offences and unlawful possession of pistols and ammunition, and remanded to Luzira, Daily Monitor reported. Besigye had gone missing in Nairobi on 16 November; his wife called it a kidnapping.
