Makindye residents protest at RCC office over delayed and reduced Parish Development Model funds

According to Nile Post, residents of Makindye gathered at the Resident City Commissioner's office on Monday to demand answers over delays in Parish Development Model payments and a plan to split each Shs1 million package between two beneficiaries. Some protesters accused local leaders of favouritism and corruption in the distribution. The RCC could not be reached for comment, and many residents stayed outside the office into the evening.
