Mawogola North candidate Jet Tumwebaze asks EC for rival Sodo Kaguta's academic documents

In a letter dated 27 October 2025, Mawogola North parliamentary candidate John Jet Tumwebaze, through Kampala Associated Advocates, asked the Electoral Commission for certified copies of the academic documents that his rival Godfrey Aine Kaguta (Sodo) submitted at nomination, Nile Post reports. Tumwebaze said he wanted to confirm that Kaguta meets the minimum academic qualification for MPs before considering further legal steps; the EC acknowledged receipt the same day.
