Member of Kyagulanyi's security team taken by armed men in Kawempe North; police confirm custody

Relatives said a long-serving member of NUP president Robert Kyagulanyi's security team, known as Bobi Giant, was seized by men in army fatigues and plain clothes who stopped his vehicle after a community cleaning activity with Kawempe North MP Erias Nalukoola, and drove him away in a van. Army spokesperson Maj Gen Felix Kulayigye was reported to have said he had been arrested and charged with unlawful drilling, and police spokesperson Kituma Rusoke said he was in police custody but did not know the location or charges. NUP described the incident as an abduction.
