Police said relatives of a woman allegedly killed by her husband mobilised a mob that set fire to 15 houses belonging to the suspect's family in Ojepi Cell, Ayivu East Division. According to West Nile police spokesperson SSP Josephine Angucia, officers fired warning shots after the mob stoned them, and stray bullets killed a 20-year-old resident and wounded a police constable in the stomach. Police said no arrests had been made and investigations were ongoing.
